What this policy covers, and the one thing to know first
This is a privacy policy written to be read rather than scrolled past. It describes what Theprotoflow actually does with information, in the order a reader is likely to care about it, and where the honest answer is nothing it says so instead of reserving a right nobody is exercising. It takes effect September 24, 2026 and it applies to this website only.
The most important sentence in it is this one: this site does not sell anything. There is no shopping cart here, no account, no password and no payment form of any kind. When you press an order button you leave this website and arrive on the brand’s own sales page, where the checkout is operated by BuyGoods, a payment processor. Your name, your delivery address and your card details are collected there, by them, under their policies. This site never sees a card number, and it could not retrieve one if you asked it to.

What this site collects, and what it does not
What you type into a contact form or an email
If you write to the desk, we receive whatever you put in the message. In practice that is a name, an email address so we can reply, and the body of what you wanted to say. Sometimes it is a photograph of a bottle or a wrap label, because a reader has spotted something that disagrees with a page here — those are the best emails this desk gets. We use that information for exactly two purposes: answering you, and correcting the site if you were right. Nobody who writes in is added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list to be added to.
Server logs
Like every website, this one runs on a server that keeps ordinary access logs. A log entry records the page requested, the date and time, the browser and operating system making the request, the referring page if there was one, and the requesting IP address. Logs exist so the site can be kept working: they are how a broken link, a page that has started erroring, or a burst of automated traffic becomes visible at all. They are not used to build a profile of a reader and they are not joined up with anything you send by email.
Analytics
Usage is measured at the level of pages rather than people. What that produces is a count of how often a page was read, which pages readers move between, roughly which country a visit came from, and whether the reader was on a phone or a desktop. That is what tells us the label page is read more than the pricing page, which is in turn what tells us where the next week of work should go. It is not used to identify you and no attempt is made to.
What is not collected here
No card number, no bank detail and no billing address, because nothing is sold on this site. No account, no username and no password, because there is nothing to log in to. No date of birth, no health record, no symptom questionnaire and no diagnosis. If you tell us something about your own health in an email it lives in that email thread and nowhere else — and we would honestly rather you did not, because the right person to tell is a clinician and not a website.
Handling
Third parties, sharing and how long things are kept
The short version is that information does not leave this desk except where a service is needed to run a website at all. There is no data broker anywhere in this picture and nothing here is for sale.
Who else is involved
A hosting provider stores and serves these pages and therefore holds the server logs described above. An analytics provider processes the page-level measurements. An email provider carries messages to and from the desk address. And the seller whose sales page the order button points at operates that page and everything that happens on it, including the BuyGoods checkout, under its own policies — which you should read on that page before you pay, because they, not this policy, govern your order.
What this site does not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not rent it, trade it or swap it with anybody. If we were ever compelled to disclose something by valid legal process we would comply, and that is the only circumstance in which anything described here leaves the providers above.
How long anything is kept
Email correspondence is kept while it is useful and for a reasonable period afterwards, because the reader who wrote about a label problem in March is quite often the same reader writing in September. Server logs are kept for a short operational window and then rotated out. Aggregate analytics are kept as counts, which by that point describe pages rather than people. If you want your correspondence with this desk deleted, say so and it will be.

Your rights, and how to use them
Privacy law in the United States is written state by state, and the rights available to you depend on where you live. Rather than guess at your state or make you prove it, this desk applies the same practice to everybody who asks. It is simpler for us and better for you.
What you can ask for
You can ask what information this desk holds about you. You can ask for a copy of it. You can ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong. You can ask for it to be deleted. You can ask that it not be sold or shared, which is an easy request to honour here because it is already the case. And you can ask a question about any of the above and get a plain answer from a person rather than a form.

Complaints
If you think this site has handled something badly, tell the desk first, because most problems are a misunderstanding that one reply fixes. If that does not resolve it, the consumer protection office of your own state is the right escalation, and we will not take it personally.

Children
This website is written for adults and is not directed at children. The product it describes is not for anyone under 18 either: the label’s own suggested use is written for adults, and its storage line says KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN in as many words. We do not knowingly collect information from a child. If you believe a child has sent something to the desk address, write to [email protected] and it will be deleted.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and the desk mailbox is access controlled. Neither of those is a guarantee, and anybody who tells you their website is unbreakable is not being straight with you. The practical protection here is that there is very little worth stealing: no card numbers, no accounts, no passwords and no health records.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version replaces this one on this page and the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried in a redline. This version is effective September 24, 2026.
